We are thrilled to announce that Peacefully, in collaboration with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, has received a $1.92 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Fast Track R44 grant from the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR). This funding is a major step forward in our mission to enhance end-of-life planning tools that better meet the needs of individuals and families navigating these critical decisions.
The awarded grant supports research to refine and assess the impact of our digital end-of-life planning tool, which aims to ease the logistical and emotional burdens associated with planning. This innovative project will be co-led by Peacefully and Fred Hutch experts, focusing on increasing engagement, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
The SBIR grant will support both Phase I and II trials to validate the tool’s design, effectiveness, and broader impact on health outcomes. We look forward to sharing updates as this project advances and, ultimately, as we work toward improved end-of-life planning for patients and their loved ones.
Stay tuned for more on this exciting journey!
