For any real property owned through joint ownership with right of survivorship titling, you may apply to transfer the property in your name through an Affidavit of Death of Joint Tenant.

Check your county probate court for any specific rules about documentation, but the most common requirements to submit are:

  • An Affidavit of Death of Joint Tenant signed by anyone with knowledge of the facts
  • A certified copy of the death certificate
  • A Preliminary Change of Ownership Report

Peacefully

For your peace of mind before and after death.
