You can stop paying, which will lead to the account being canceled. You can also delete the account yourself or transfer it to a different email. If you have HBO through your cable provider, please see the to-do for dealing with cable under Utilities and Subscriptions.
1) Leave as is. The subscription will be canceled, but only if you cancel the credit card. Or,

4) If you don’t have access to the account but do have access to their email or phone, you can reset the password this way:
- Go to HBONOW.com on your loved one’s computer or open the HBO NOW app on their phone or tablet: https://play.hbonow.com/
- Choose Sign In. If you don’t see Sign In, try to play a show or movie.
- Choose “Forgot password?”
- Enter their HBO NOW email address and choose Submit.
- Check the inbox for a ‘Reset Password for HBO NOW’ email.
- Open the Reset Password email and choose Reset Password.
- Enter a new password and choose Save Password.
