1) If you can log in to their account:
- Select the name in the upper left-hand corner.
- Click Account Settings.
- Click the Account tab.
- Click Close my Account.
- Scroll down and click request to close the account.
- Select a reason for closing the account.
- Click Continue.
- Click Confirm.
2) If you can’t log in but have access to their email or phone number, Ebay recommends resetting the password. You can use this link: https://www.ebay.com/help/account/changing-account-settings/cha nging-password?id=4197
3) If you can’t log in and do not have access to their email or phone number:
- You can call eBay at 866-540-3229.
- They will remove the billing information on their behalf.
- You will need their username, email address, and physical address on file.
